Contact The Team
Fill out a form online for a free quote to start the process. A solar representative will reach out to you shortly after to talk over what you’re looking for from solar power. We’ll talk about your property and evaluate qualities like shade cover to make sure solar panels will be a good fit for your home. If qualified after that, it’s time to schedule a free in-home consultation.
In-Home Consultation
One of our solar consultants will travel to your property to better evaluate your home. In addition, we’ll take a look at your electric bills when deciding what size solar system is best for you. These factors will combine into a unique proposal based on your home’s specific energy needs. After you sign, we’ll start preparing for installation.
Solar Installation
Our installation team will arrive promptly on installation day to install your solar panels. We’ll work quickly but carefully to make sure there’s no damage to your roof or home. This process should take about a day or two. Once your solar panels are installed, our team will test out your system and clean up your property. After a passed inspection, the only thing left is your utility provider swapping out your meter so you can start enjoying potential savings!4

Solar Panel Installation FAQs
Pink Energy’s solar panel systems are not one size fits all. We create custom solar systems for each customer’s unique energy needs. As such, it’s hard to give an estimate of what your solar panel installation could cost. However, generally the price will depend on your home’s current energy needs, what direction your home faces and how much sunlight your roof receives in addition to other such factors.
It’s possible to do, but we do not recommend it. Pink Energy’s qualified installation teams have the experience needed to ensure your panels are installed properly and in the best position to gather sunlight.
Our installation team only takes a day or two to have your solar panels up and running. It’s a quick process!
Yes, some permits are required to install solar panels. It’s likely your local government has some requirements in place before installation occurs. Pink Energy’s experts will help you with the majority of the permits as part of the installation process.
In nearly all cases, your roof warranty should remain intact. As long as the installation team did their job right (and our teams are experts), you shouldn’t have any problems with your roof’s warranty. We recommend that you should always double-check with your roof’s manufacturer or installer to confirm.
Permits needed to install solar panels vary by your own local government’s mandates. Your local government and local utility companies likely have specific requirements in place to satisfy local building and electrical codes. As a general rule, you can expect to have to file for a building permit, an electrical permit and possibly a solar photovoltaic (PV) permit.
This varies by neighborhood. However, you can expect to face some pushback from your HOA if your solar panels will face public spaces, such as an HOA-maintained park or road. Pink Energy will work with you to ensure that your solar panels are up to code and satisfy HOA requirements if at all possible!
Absolutely! Metal roofs offer a stable surface for solar panel installation, so there should be no problem in having both.
